Ceresole Reale
Ceresole Reale is the Piedmontese gate to the national park Gran Paradiso. Ceresole possesses precious natural resources and is perfectly suited for any kind of summer and winter sports in the mountains. Its pristine nature is alive with prominent representatives of the Alpine fauna: Chamois, foxes, eagles, marmots and of course the ibex, the symbol of the national park, may all be found here.
Chamois - La Magdeleine
Chamois, with only 100 inhabitants the smallest of the Alpine Pearls, is perched high (1,815 m above sea level) on a mountain plateau facing south at the foot of the Matterhorn. The Italian community consists of several hamlets sheltered from the wind and snuggled against the sunny mountainside.
