The local cable car functions as part of the publication transportation system and operates on a year-round basis. The chair lift to Lago di Loda only operates in the summer.
Chamois and La Magdaleine each has 10 e-bikes. Solar-powered battery charging stations are located on site.
Hiking centres near the Chamois and La Magdeleine cable car stations provide numerous trailheads for delightful hikes.

In the summer, the bus service is on-call and can be booked in advance. Car-free trips to Valtournenche, Val d’Ayas and the Gressoney Valley.
If you have to take your car to get here, you can find parking areas in Antey St. Andrè near the cable car station. La Magdeleine has one no-fee overflow parking area plus several fee-based parking areas.
Rental places in both hamlets supply you with excellent bicycles and mountain bikes.
Chamois is completely car-free. A comfortable, no-car panoramic trail connects the two hamlets Chamois and La Magdeleine.

A fascinating trail along a little brook in La Magdeleine passes by these ancient mills. To find out how the village folks have been processing the cereals grown along their sunny slopes, take a guided tour and immerse yourself in this culture that hasn’t changed at all over the years.
This hike along the Gran Balconata trail helps the entire family find out more about energy production.
