A sunny ‘Welcome’ from the Lippmöshof!
Welcome to our mountain farm, which towers above the Villnöss Valley and offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Geislerspitzen peaks. We, Julia and Pauli, are the happy hosts of this special place, which we have created with a lot of passion and heart and soul. We would like to tell you not only about our farm, but also about the philosophy that drives us and why the Lippmöshof is more than just accommodation – it is a way of life.
Our philosophy: harmony with nature
As a farming family, we live and breathe in tune with nature. This harmony is the basis for everything we do. When building our five holiday apartments, we placed great emphasis on sustainability and naturalness. The walls are covered with organic plaster, and the furniture and façade are made of spruce and Swiss stone pine from our own forest, ensuring a healthy, restful indoor climate.
For us, farming is a vocation born of conviction. We breed robust Tyrolean Grey cattle according to the principle of suckler cow husbandry, which means that the calves stay with their mothers. This reflects our appreciation for animal welfare and natural cycles. As a partner of the Slow Food association ‘Geislerrind’, we are able to offer high-quality, regionally produced beef – another step towards sustainable agriculture and regional value creation.
Our apartments, named after the Geislerspitzen peaks, are furnished with solid wood furniture and wooden floors. They not only offer comfort and cosiness, but also the opportunity to consciously relax and recharge your batteries.
What we offer: peace, pleasure and adventure
The Lippmöshof is the perfect place to leave everyday life behind. The unique secluded location guarantees absolute peace and quiet, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains to the fullest. From the front door, you can set off directly on countless hiking trails that take you to the Puez-Geisler Nature Park, where mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner discovered his love of nature. Julia and Pauli are both trained hiking guides and will be happy to give you insider tips for the most beautiful tours. In summer, we offer our guests free guided hikes starting directly from our farm.
Whether it's a pine scent massage or a private yoga session in the forest, Julia, a trained health coach, will take care of your individual well-being.
For our guests arriving without a car, there are excellent bus connections that will take you comfortably from Brixen railway station directly to our valley. The bus stop is only a 3-minute walk from the farm. So you can leave your car at home and explore the countryside in a relaxed manner.
In winter, the valley is transformed into a fairytale land. From toboggan runs to snow-covered winter hiking trails or perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails, nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable winter experience.
Alpine Pearls: Gentle mobility is close to our hearts
We have been enthusiastic about the Alpine Pearls philosophy from the very beginning and are proud to be part of this community. As an Alpine Pearls host, the Lippmöshof is committed to gentle tourism. For us, this means:
- Climate-friendly travel: We encourage our guests to travel by public transport and provide all the necessary information.
- Local mobility: You don't need a car here. The Dolomiti Mobil Card, which we provide to our guests free of charge, allows free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol. This allows you to explore the region in a relaxed and environmentally conscious manner.
- E-bike rental and e-charging station: For those who prefer to explore the surrounding area on two wheels, we offer e-bike rental. This allows you to tackle even more challenging routes with ease and experience the mountains from a new perspective. And for the environmentally conscious motorists among you, there is an e-charging station right on the farm so you can conveniently charge your electric vehicle.
- Sustainability in detail: We take care to use resources sparingly, use regional products and actively contribute to the protection of our unique natural environment.
