In the winter, free ski buses take you from Hinterstoder to all the surrounding ski areas.
For your excursions an e-car (Renault Twizy) is available for rent, from the municipality of Hinterstoder.
There are several e-bike rental places and battery swapping stations in the surroundings of Hinterstoder.
An excellent bus network connects you to every corner in the Pyhrn-Priel area. In the summer, all buses are free with your “Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard”.
Take the valley bus to explore the entire length of Stodertal Valley all the way to the foot of the “Dead Mountains”. Many trails start here and take you to breath-taking vistas.

If you want a bit of an adrenalin rush, the Stodertal area is the spot for you. The modern Alpineum, which received the Museum of the Year Award 2000, is a year-round attraction. This museum exhibits the interesting history of skiing from its very beginnings to the modern high-tech carving skis and gives you an informative overview of Stodertal history.
Explore a network of 120 km of well-marked loop trails. There are so many options to choose from depending on your skill and desire: from leisurely walks along the crystal-clear waters of the Steyr brook to challenging tours over rugged mountain terrain and along the via ferrata trails. And if you want to view the spectacular vistas from above, easily scale the lofty heights by cable car.
