By train: to Mallnitz train station

Take a train ride into the High Tauern National Park. Every 2 hours, international express trains arrive at Mallnitz-Obervellach IC train station. Several direct trains operate daily between Mallnitz and Vienna and across the border to Germany.  

Your host is happy to work with the Mobilito centre to help you find the perfect train ticket for you. 

When you book your train ride, remember to order the free shuttle service and we will pick you up at the train station and take you to your Alpine Pearls member hotel/guesthouse.

By bus: Take Flixbus to the Salzburg, Villach or Klagenfurt stop. Continue on by train directly to Mallnitz. 

By plane: We only recommend plane travel if you are coming from far away. Transfers from the airport to your lodging can be arranged upon request.

Is it too cumbersome to take along all your winter sports accessories? - Not a problem in Mallnitz! Our first-class ski rental-service Wolliger Sports makes it easy. Just leave your stuff at home and rent everything you need at your destination.
