For much winter fun, families should visit the Ski and Fun Park in the sunny village Stuls. And if you want to scale the famous artificial ice towers (up to 25 m tall), Rabenstein is the place to go. Countless fun activities await in the winter: plain old hiking or guided torch-lit hikes by night, snowshoe excursions, horse-drawn carriage rides, excursions on horseback across the winter wonderland, ice skating on natural ice rinks, cross-country skiing, sledding and so much more.

Natural phenomena such as the glacier mill near Platt and the Passer Gorge are well worth a visit and so is the famous high mountain pass Timmelsjoch linking Austria and Italy. And for culture lovers, check out the Bunker Mooseum, which gives insight into a bunker Mussolini started to build in the 1940's.
