By train to Bled
Lesce-Bled train station (4 km from Bled centre) on the Munich–Salzburg–Villach–Ljubljana rail route or the local Jesenice–Ljubljana rail route.
Bled Jezero train station (3 km from Bled centre) on the Villach–Jesenice–Nova Gorica–Koper/ Gorizia rail route or on the local Jesenice–Nova Gorica rail route.
Regular train services run between Bled and Germany (via Munich), Switzerland (via Zurich) and Austria (via Salzburg, Villach and Graz). All these trains also connect directly with Ljubljana. Slovenian Railways: potniski.sz.si/en/
A taxi or local bus takes you from the train station to the village centre.
Arrival by bus
Public buses connect Bled to every major town in Slovenia.
Flixbus provides international bus connections to Bled.
We only recommend plane travel if you are coming from far away. Pickup from Ljubljana-Brnik international airport can be arranged upon request. During the main season (June to mid of September) a bus runs regularly between the city centre of Ljubliana to Bled via the airport.
